My Marvelous Movie Shots
This is an eye level shot. This was an easier shot to get as my star is surprisingly photogenic and not scared of the camera, unlike my water bottle, which terrifies him.
This is an over the shoulder shot. As you can see, the cat was clearly ready for his close up, and truly believes he is a movie star.
This is a full shot. Although it was challenging to hold the camera steady, the outcome was worth it.
This is a medium angle shot. Since the subject moved so quickly, making sure she stayed in the frame all the way throughout was a bit challenging.
This is a low angle shot. It was difficult to film this shot without almost getting kicked in the head, which is why it was taken from the side.
This is a point of view shot. This shot was relatively simple to film and didn't take more than one try.
This is a cut away. It was challenging to get the timing down, and took more than one try to be successful.
This is a long shot. This shot wasn't extremely difficult to capture as all I had to do was make sure my friend's full body and partial surroundings remained in the frame.
This is an extreme close up. this shot was easier, as the angle wasn't difficult and the camera didn't really need to be held steady.
This is a boom shot. This shot was more of a challenge, as the star of the shot had already had a camera in his face for five minutes, such a diva.
I enjoyed the long shot, it made me feel happy and excited. The boom shot was very well done, and it made me feel eager waiting for the cat to jump. The cut away shot was filled with anticipation and I found it kind of funny because of how gracefully she fell.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the over the shoulder shot of your cat. I felt from the over the shoulder shot playfulness.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed the low angle shot. It had a little bit of action and moved with the subject. It made the viewer feel small. Lastly, I liked the cutaway shot too. It felt like things were moving quickly. It invoked a sense of urgency.
Your Extreme Close -up shot was very well filmed and executed. I like how you followed your subject's movements subtly, and stayed focused on them.
ReplyDeleteYour Boom-shot was filmed great, I like how instead of just keeping the camera at one specific angle the entire time, you followed the action of your subject upwards to the counter. Great job!
Finally, I thought your Cut-Away shot was great! Not a lot of people did this shot, as it is bait challenging. You did a phenomenal job moving the camera away right before the "action" or result of an action has occurred. I can tell you really tried and prepared well for this assignment, good job.
